Last night, July 28, 2025, Marietta City School District Board of Education Member John Lehman, resigned his seat on the board, effective immediately. Accordingly, the remaining board members will begin the necessary steps to address the resulting vacancy in accordance with board policy and Ohio Revised Code. The board would like to thank Mr. Lehman for his service during his time on the board. An update will be given regarding next steps once those steps are finalized by the remaining board members.
