Tonight at 7:00 pm in the MHS Auditorium. Mixed Chorus, Treble Chorus, Bass Chorus, Cantabile Choir, Bells One, Bells Two, and Vocal Point will all perform for the "Sounds of the Season" Holiday Concert. The performance is free and open to the public. We hope to see you all there to enjoy some amazing music!
The Foundations of Firefighting class taught by Mrs. Mayer is hosting a Family Fun Night for First Responders this Friday, December 13. It will be in the Marietta High School cafeteria from 6:30-8:00 PM. There will be snacks and games for the whole family. This is free event and we hope to see many of you there!

Save the date for the Marietta City Schools Bands Holiday Concert, which will take place on December 10 at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. Junior Winds, Wind Symphony and Symphonic Winds will all be featured and you won't want to miss these students perform, we hope to see you on the 10th!

In collaboration with Southeastern Ohio Counseling Center, we are excited to bring the "Parenting Hub" to all of our K-12 families! This monthly event will be held at varying locations throughout the community and will hopefully help parents/guardians with a wide range of issues that include but aren't limited to, challenging behaviors, developing positive communication techniques, strengthening parent child relationships and so much more.
Our first Parenting Hub will be November 19, at 6 p.m. at the Community Room at 100 Cisler Lane (families will go down stairs to get to the room) We hope to see many of you in attendance, and be sure to keep your eyes out for this event every month moving forward!
It's World Kindness Day! We hope that one of the things our students learn as they attend Marietta City Schools is that being kind matters! Kindness can come in all shapes and sizes, from helping a friend, cleaning up trash at your local park, or donating to those who are less fortunate. We are very proud of our students and staff members and we are certain there is an abundance of kindness throughout our district!

The Marietta High School Picture Retake day will be held Wednesday, November 13.

On November 14 from 6-7 p.m. at the Marietta High School Cafeteria there will be a free dinner & workshop for students interested in learning more about how to manage and navigate the world of being a diabetic. Included in this free event will be :

Building Bridges to Careers Career Fest will be held November 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds Junior Fair Building. It's open to all 7th-12th grade students and their families around Washington County. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a jumpstart on planning their career pathway. In addition to career resources there will be free pizza and games as well!

Just a reminder that 8th grade students will need to return their permission slips for the Career Center field trip by Wednesday October 30th. Please make sure that any student that wants to attend the field trip turns in a permission slip prior to the 30th as no slips will be accepted after that date.
