Parents of our 4-6 grade students mark your calendars for our open house on August 20. At any point from 5-6:30 p.m. we'd like to welcome you to visit your student's new teacher and drop off their supplies. It's been a great summer, but we can’t wait to begin another school year because we miss our students! See you the 20th!

The year is quickly approaching and we are excited to welcome the incoming third grade class to MES! Our third grade orientation will be August 19 from 5-6:30 p.m. and will divide the class into two groups based on their last names.
If your child’s last name starts with A-K, you will go to the cafeteria presentation from 5:00-5:30 p.m. After this presentation, you will go to your child’s homeroom class. If your child’s last name starts with L-Z, you will go to the cafeteria presentation from 5:45-6:15 p.m. Before this presentation, you can go to your child’s homeroom class. Families are more than welcome to bring their students supplies to their homeroom when you meet the teacher.
You will be able to find out when your students start date will be based on our staggered start schedule that you should be receiving soon in the mail. The staggered start means that your child will come to school either on Wednesday, August 21st or Thursday, August 22nd. All third grade students will report to school on Friday, August 23rd.
