The annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held noon-1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Norwood United Methodist Church, Oakwood Avenue and Colegate Drive in Marietta. The menu will include choice of ham or turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and pumpkin pie. To reserve a dinner or to have a dinner delivered, call the church at 740-374-5606. There is a limit of six dinners per household for the delivery service. No take-out meals will be available, only dine-in and delivery. The dinner is free and available to any family or individual who wants to enjoy a hot traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Reservations and dinner delivery requests may also be emailed to norwoodumc23@att.net with the subject line “Turkey Dinner RSVP.”

With our continuous improvement survey, we are seeking targeted feedback to improve at each of our academic buildings. To date, Marietta High School has the highest participation in the continuous improvement survey that closes on Friday. MHS has 146 parents/guardians who have responded. Marietta Elementary School is coming in with a close second with 101 parents/guardians responding.
