It's that time of year and the Marietta Wall of Sound will look to compete against 7 other bands during the 64th annual Band-O-Rama. This event will be at Don Drumm Stadium on October 4, 2025 and will begin at 4:45 p.m. with the gates opening at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday September 27, from 11-2 p.m. at Don Drumm Stadium will be the free community event "Steps for Inclusion". The event is being put on by UnPuzzled Parents Connect, but any funds raised through donations will help them open a dedicated space for therapies, activities and family programing. The event will feature fun for the whole family including:
-Sensory games around the track
-A petting zoo
-Trackless train rides
-Carnival games
-Bounce house and inflatables
- Food trucks & sweet treats
-Prizes & raffle tickets

Just a reminder that picture day is Wednesday, September 17, and retake day will be October 15. There are no order forms for packages, like in the past. All children will have pictures taken. Then, a few days after pictures you will use the code sent home to login, see and order pictures.


Students in grades K-8 looking for a healthy and fun activity should consider joining the Marietta Youth Run Club. The first meeting of the group will be Wednesday September 3rd at 5:30 p.m. at the Broughton Complex. You can ask questions or sign up by texting 740-336-0941.

Tomorrow, August 7, the, Washington County Back to School Bash will be held from 4-7 p.m.. Families across the county will be able to visit the Washington County Junior Fair Building for local resources, programs and support that include but aren't limited to:
-Immunizations for 7-12th graders
-Haircuts (as time allows)
-School supplies
-Activities for kids
-Smoke detectors and fire safety
-So much more!

It's almost August and that means we have some important dates coming up to get you prepared for another incredible school year! Don't forget to save the relevant dates for your student and we can't wait to see you at these events!


The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County is providing free hot lunches between the ages of 5-18 years old all summer long. From June 9-August 15, kids can stop between 11:30 and 12 p.m. at 307 Lancaster Street in Suite I in Marietta.

Tigers under the age of 18 looking to play golf at a wide range of courses around the area, mark your calendar for the Tiger Junior Golf Tour. Dates and courses are listed below.
July 6: Lakeside, 2 p.m.
July 11: Oxbow, 2:30 p.m.
July 16: Golf Club of WV, 8 a.m.
July 22: Marietta Country Club, 8 a.m.

Safety Town signups are open and you need to reserve your child's spot asap. Safety town will take place June 16-26 at Phillips Elementary School and there will be a 9a.m.-12 p.m. session and a 1-4 p.m.

Can you believe the end of the year is almost here? Our final Coffee with care of the year will be May 9, from 8:45-9:30 a.m. in the Phillips Elementary Library. Our topic this month will be Anxiety and an End of the Year Wrap Up. We hope you will choose to join us for some excellent conversation, pastries and coffee. 🍩☕


The Daddy Daughter dance will be a fun opportunity for dads and daughters of all ages on May 23 from 7-9 p.m. in the MHS Cafeteria. Dress for this event will be semi formal (nice dress).
Tickets are $15 per dad and daughter with $5 additional per daughter up to a max of $25. Tickets can be purchased at the Athletic Department website or at the door. Proceeds from this event will go towards paying for the Marietta Marquettes trip to Nationals.
