Our friends over at the Ohio Valley ESC would like families with preschool age students to know that the enrollment period for Bright Beginnings Preschool is opening on February 6.
New students can call 740-373-6669 to have an application mailed to you or you can find one on their website at www.ovesc.org

This month's Coffee with Care will be located at the Washington Elementary School library and we will be covering the important topic of internet safety. We hope that you'll join us on January 16 at 9 a.m. for refreshments, good information and quality community building time.

We are sad to announce that this month's Coffee and Conversation is canceled. Superintendent Schaeffer would like to apologize for missing you this month, but she will be back Jeremiah's Coffee House next month. It's almost time for our second Pre K- 2nd grade Coffee with Care of the year. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to gather for refreshments, conversation and resources to help make the year go smoother for their students.

Tomorrow, November 14 at 9 a.m. in the Washington Elementary library, our elementary counselors will be covering the topic of "Big Emotions". This one is extremely valuable as this age group often deals with emotional swings both positive and negative and this information can help make you and your students life easier.

We hope you will join us tomorrow morning!

Our food service provider AVI would like our students feedback regarding how they can improve prior to November 14. We are talking to them at school and during lunch about this survey, but if you could also ask your child to consider taking this it will only benefit their future at MCSD. Thank you!

We LOVE when our MHS students get involved with our younger Tigers and that's exactly what will be happening at the Trunk or Treat event on October 19. From 4-6 p.m. join our MHS students at the MHS Davis Avenue Parking lot for games, prizes and of course.... candy! We hope to see many of you there!

Tabby needs your help! Tabby's Clothesline is a community driven service that provides free clothing, school supplies and much more to students in need. Check out the flyers below and find us at the Fort Frye vs. Marietta Football game on 10/10. We appreciate your support and help in making this incredible program possible.

It's that time of year and the Marietta Wall of Sound will look to compete against 7 other bands during the 64th annual Band-O-Rama. This event will be at Don Drumm Stadium on October 4, 2025 and will begin at 4:45 p.m. with the gates opening at 2:30 p.m.
